By creating an account or using Roly, you agree to these Terms. Roly is an Australian online assistant that helps people work through everyday questions, practical problems, ideas and tasks.

What Roly provides

Roly can help with everyday questions, practical problems, projects, learning, research, photos and visual context, documents, general conversation, and practical guidance. You can simply tell Roly what’s happening or what you want to know.

AI information and safety

Roly uses AI and can make mistakes. Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances. Roly generates assistance using the information and context available to it. Consider your circumstances and verify important information against reliable sources or manufacturer information where appropriate, including compatibility, capacities, measurements, torque, electrical or fluid specifications, parts and other safety-critical requirements.

Accounts and acceptable use

Stop if a task appears unsafe or beyond your knowledge, ability or equipment. Roly is not for emergencies; where immediate danger exists, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional. Roly does not replace licensed, qualified or appropriately trained professionals where professional work is legally or practically required. You are responsible for deciding whether a task needs a licence, qualification, permit, specialist equipment, inspection or professional assistance.

Roly Plus, billing and refunds

Roly currently offers Roly Free and Roly Plus. Roly Plus costs A$14.95 AUD per month, including GST, and is a recurring monthly subscription processed through Stripe. It continues until cancelled through the available subscription or billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; unless otherwise stated or required by law, it does not automatically refund charges already paid, and paid access may continue until the end of the paid billing period. If payment fails, paid access may be restricted until resolved. Pricing, limits or features may change with appropriate notice where required.

Accounts, use, consumer rights and service changes

Provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure. Contact support@askroly.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Do not use Roly unlawfully, deliberately interfere with it, attempt unauthorised access or access to other users’ information, upload unlawful or malicious material, or deliberately abuse the service. You retain ownership of your messages and photos, and grant Roly only the permissions reasonably necessary to process them for providing, operating, securing and improving the service. Roly may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party issues or circumstances outside reasonable control. Access may be restricted for security, unlawful activity, serious misuse, abuse or material breaches. Roly’s software, branding, website design and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights. Roly may change the service or these Terms as it develops, with material changes communicated where reasonably appropriate or legally required. These Terms are subject to applicable Australian law and mandatory consumer protections.
